How to Program Garage Door Openers to HomeLink®

HomeLink® compatibility with Overhead Door™ garage door openers offers homeowners seamless integration and convenience. With HomeLink®, you can sync your vehicle’s built-in garage door opener buttons with your Overhead Door® garage door compatable opener system, eliminating the need for separate remotes. Note: You must have a separate remote for the initial programming.

First, you’ll need to identify the model of your garage door opener before using these instructions to program your opener to HomeLink®. To identify the serial number (shown as S/N), look on the back or front of the opener depending on the model to find the first 5 digits of the serial numbers. It should be 11291 or greater to program. For any serial number smaller than 11291, please visit these HomeLink® programming instructions.

HomeLink® is a registered trademark of Gentex Corporation. For system problems call HomeLink® 1-800-355-3515

Programming procedures can vary depending on the make, manufacturer and model of your vehicle and of your garage door opener.
