For HomeLink® and Car2U® compatibility, follow your vehicle’s user manual or contact your local dealership to confirm if your garage door opener/motor can be paired with your vehicle. If you are uncertain about your vehicle’s features, please get in touch with your nearest dealership for assistance. HomeLink® compatibility with Overhead Door™ garage door openers offers homeowners seamless integration and convenience in controlling their garage doors. With Homelink®, homeowners can sync their vehicle’s built-in garage door opener buttons with their Overhead Door® garage door opener system, eliminating the need for separate remotes. (note: you must have a separate remote for the initial programming.) Click here to view if your vehicle is compatible with the HomeLink® System.

Clicker/Remote: These have been used since the end of World War II and continue to be the number one choice of consumers to this day. A simple clicker/remote to operate your garage door motor from outside the garage. This doesn’t require programming directly to your vehicle but instead to the clicker/remote. We sell these at our location, and they can be purchased during your garage door opener installation. Each opener purchased from us comes with one standard clicker/remote. If you need additional clickers/remotes, let us know when you call to schedule your installation or when the technician arrives, and we will provide pricing. If you are trying to add a new clicker/remote to your existing garage door operational system, please have the model number of your garage door when calling for information and pricing.
Keypad: A keypad for external operation. These keypads are available at the time of purchase. Please discuss your interest in a keypad when requesting a new garage door opener. We also sell these at our location. If you are trying to add a new keypad to your existing garage door operational system, please have the model number of your garage door when calling for information and pricing.
OHD Anywhere App: Today, many garage door openers are controlled by smartphones using Bluetooth technology. We offer a compatible app to serve this purpose. Download the OHD Anywhere App on your phone. If this is your sole method of accessing your garage, the opener must be paired with the app at all times. If the App connection fails, you could be locked out of your garage from the exterior. It’s best to have an additional option if using this as your primary means of operating your garage door motor. Not all existing or older models of our garage door openers have this option available.
