The Allura® Shutter is the newest addition to Overhead Door’s commercial line. Perfect for commercial applications looking for security in high-traffic pedestrian areas, it is a versatile and attractive option for rolling security shutters, according to the company. The compact rolling door solution offers a space-saving design, making it ideal for installations with limited side room and headroom. The aluminum design provides durability for both interior and exterior use and offers a quiet and smooth function. The Allura Shutter is available in 197 baked-on powder coat colors and six wood grain powder coat finishes.
Allura® 653 Shutter Door Features
- Option to do between-jambs-mounting or face-of-wall
- Interlocking extruded .05″ aluminum slats. It also has steel screws that are nickel-plated and end locks to hold the curtain within guides, preventing lateral movement, as well as plastic roller retainers for curtains that are over 16′ wide.
- Options for silver powder coat to look like anodized aluminum, a bronze powder coat to look like bronze anodized, a white powder coat, or or an almond powder coat
- Aluminum bottom with a vinyl bulb seal
- Steel plates can be powder coated to match the curtains
- An aluminum two-piece square hood, which can be powder coated to match curtain
- Extruded aluminum barrel housing counterbalance spring assembly
- Manual push up
- Slide bolts (interior, coil side); left and right sides
- A limited two-year warranty for all included components, parts, and PowderGuard® Premium powder coat finish
